Description
Isae's persimmon dyeing uses methods from two regions, Jeju and Cheongdo. First, the Jeju persimmon is an astringent persimmon called ttaeng persimmon. It has a slightly rougher feel compared to Cheongdo persimmons, but its unique color created through a long tradition is attractive. On the other hand, in Cheongdo, persimmon water is made using green persimmons, fermented and aged in an artisanal way. It is dyed after careful maturation for more than 3 years. It has features such as antibacterial deodorization function, breathability and UV protection function, enhanced durability, and shape stability.
